Embroidery Machine Knowledge Base & FAQ
Welcome to the WONYO Embroidery Machine Knowledge Base. Here you will find answers to the most common technical questions and maintenance tips to keep your machine running at its best.
1. How to change the bobbin and bobbin case on a WONYO machine?
Open the bobbin cover, pull the latch on the bobbin case to remove it. Insert a new bobbin into the case, ensuring it rotates in the correct direction, and snap the case back into the rotary hook.
2. How do I input an embroidery design into the system?
Insert your USB drive with the .DST or .DSB file. Go to the "USB" menu on the control panel, select your design, and click "Load" to import it into the machine memory.
3. What is the correct way to thread a WONYO embroidery machine?
Follow the numbered path on the machine head. Ensure the thread passes through all tension discs and the take-up lever before passing through the needle eye from front to back.
4. How do I install the cap attachment for hat embroidery?
Remove the flat embroidery hoop. Secure the cap driver to the machine rail, install the cap hoop onto the driver, and ensure the driver is properly engaged with the machine's drive system.
5. How often should I oil my WONYO embroidery machine?
For single or double-head machines, apply 1-2 drops of white machine oil to the rotary hook every 4-8 hours of operation. Needle bars should be oiled weekly.
6. How can I adjust the hook timing?
Set the machine to the lowest needle position (needle at 201 degrees). Loosen the hook screws and align the hook point with the center of the needle's scarf. Tighten the screws and verify clearance.
7. What should I do if the machine shows a "Spindle Error" or color change issue?
Check if the main shaft is at the 100-degree stop position. Verify that the color change motor is not obstructed and the sensors are clean and properly aligned.
8. Why is my needle bar shaking or not corresponding to the correct position?
This is often caused by loose set screws on the drive gear or debris in the needle bar channel. Clean the area and ensure all mechanical connections are tight.
9. How do I resolve frequent thread trimming issues?
Check the movable and fixed blades for sharpness. Ensure the solenoid is functioning and the trimming timing is correctly set in the system parameters.
10. How do I reset the machine to its origin (Back to Origin)?
Access the "Manual Operation" or "System Settings" menu and select "Back to Origin" or "Home". The machine will automatically move the X and Y axes to their starting positions.
